We are glad to see you aboard, this is the home to Israeli students who are interested in space and who want to promote space. Most of the information in this site is in hebrew, but there is a limited version for you to learn about us.
Who are we ?
We have been founded in october 2001 (officialy), mainly by aerospace engineering students, in Haifa. We have about 50 members from all over Israel, and who are all students, We have several goals -
- Encourage students who are interested in space.
- Promote space research in Israel.
- Make the public more aware about space, and promote space education.
- Help to promote other space initatives.
We work with many organizations, both Israeli and global (like SEDS, students for exploration and development of space) which all work to promote space-related subjects. We also get help from the local aerospace industry and academy.

The Shavit is Israel's satellite launcher, it is made by IAI - Israel aircraft industry, and was first launched on september 1988
